Aalu tikki

You need
Potatoes - 4 medium size (boiled)
Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Amchur powder - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves
Bread crumbs
Oil


Method
  • In a bowl combine potatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, red chilly powder, turmeric, green chillies, amchur powder, chaat masala and coriander leaves.
  • Make patties of the mixture and roll them over bread crumbs and set aside.
  • Shallow fry them on a tava until both sides turn golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or as aalu tikki chaat
